 Disneyland

Where Dreams Come True

—

Like many 80’s kids I grew up watching Disney and because of that I wanted to visit Disneyland. Watching all those happy children run around the park made me crave that experience but like many others my family couldn’t afford to go. It wasn’t until I traveled for baseball that I was able to get a taste of that wonderful world but unlucky for me I wasn’t there for vacation so I spent about four hours at the park. I know, it would have better if I had never gone at all.

So now I’m a father with children who love Disney movies as I did and my six year old is already talking to me about going to Disneyland. I would love to go and probably even more then her but like my father before me  we can’t afford it as of today and in the near future.

This doesn’t mean it will never happen. It can and when it does I can only imagine the joy that will be emanating from my girls. I really can’t wait for that moment and that’s a great reason to keep living.
